Lightroom Classic 6 won't run. The splash screen opens for a second and then closes. Win 11 Pro

Lightroom Classic 6 won't run any more. I have uninstalled & reinstalled twice including deleting all folders related to it (I think) & reinstalling again and it still won't run. The splash screen opens for a second (literally) and then closes.

(Running Win 11 Pro on Asus B550-F with AMD 5700G + RX7600 GPU & 64 GB ram)

    Lightroom 6 isn't compatible with Windows 11 which means it can be worked or  not and it isn't sure that all functions are working ok. LR 6 isn't supported by Adobe for several years. There are no more patches and updates to make it compatible with newer operating systems and/or fixes bugs.

     

    You can try to download the latest available version 6.14 here End of Support | Lightroom 6 Downloads and Syncing (adobe.com) and check if it's working. You can also try to run LR6 in the compatibility mode under Windows 11.
