Just installed the latest update having just changed to a new laptop Macbook Pro and it started first time then crashed and now won't start up again. I have seen answers to this for PC but not Mac. Can anyone help... I'm not a techie!!

Hi Paddy,

Since you're on a new MacBook Pro, you're probably using the Catalina OS. And since you just uploaded a new release of LRC, you are probably up to date from there as well.

Some questions: where is the catalog and where are the images. Are these items on an external drive or are they on your hard drive. If you're not sure where your catalog is located go to the Lightroom Classic (menu, (far left, to the left of the edit menu and to the right of the Apple menu)) and select Catalog Settings. Then on the top you can see the Location:

For the images, if you're not sure, than right-click on any image in the thumbnail and select "Show in Finder"
