Lightroom Classic

LRC won't open - I get the error message that my catalogue is being used by another application but it isn't!  Do I hit "choose a different catalogue" or "continue" - I don't want my pics to disappear!!

Your pics will not disappear. They are not in Lightroom Classic anyway.

 

To fix this problem, close Lightroom Classic, go to the folder where your catalog file is located, find a file whose name ends with .LOCK and delete this one file. DO NOT DELETE ANYTHING ELSE.
