As a first step, update to LR 6.14, the last version of LR 6 released by Adobe:

(Save the installer, since Adobe will pull it down the end of 2023.)

If that doesn't help, provide a lot more detail about what you're trying to do and what you observe. Screenshots (not phone pics) are always helpful.
