Lightroom Classic almost unuasable since update to 14.2

Since I updated lightroom to version 14.2 it is virtually unusable. It takes forever to launch, it crashes, the masking tools are very slow, and the moving from one thumbnail to another takes forever.

Please go to the Help menu in Lightroom Classic, then System info and copy the text. You can either paste the text here as a reply or in a text file and share the file with us.

Meanwhile, you can try to reset the preferences of Lightroom using the steps mentioned here: https://adobe.ly/2JSym5e

Please backup your presets prior to resetting the preferences.
