Lightroom Classic and OneDrive

My Lightroom catalog and related files (previews, data,helper, etc.) are currently located in the "pictures" folder in OneDrive. Is there a downside to putting them in OneDrive; should I move them out of OneDrive?

There are lots of reports about problems with having the catalog on OneDrive, so my advice would be to move it out.

Catalog and photos should not be stored in folders that are synched to the "Cloud". This includes OneDrive, DropBox and any other sijmilar cloud service. With files that are changing regularly (especially the catalog file), the synching to the cloud is a possible and likely cause of corruption. Even people have reported photo file corruption when stored in a "cloud" folder.
