Question

Lightroom Classic - Can't see spot healing or clone brush

I'm running MacOS Catalina and notice that when I select the Spot Healing/Clone brush the brush is not visible on the picture.  I can click and it performs the intended effect but I have no way of knowing where I am applying the healing until after I do it.  This is not very productive.  Is it a bug within Lightroom Classic or do I have something turned off that I am not aware of.

Thanks

Robert

At the bottom left, look for 'Tool Overlay'. This is probably set to 'Never'. Change it to any of the other three options. The 'H' key does indeed do that too, so you may have hit that by mistake.

    "H" key toggles hide/unhide.

Not on a computer to check. Look at the bottom of the Develop view, where tool options show up, I think one exists that modifies visibility of the tool in question. Actually that might refer to pins.

How about your opacity? At 0?

Not a notified incompatibility -as yet! But are you on Lr-Classic 8.4.1 ??

Try- Reset the Preferences file. This often fixes strange occurrences.
