Today I installed Lightroom classic cc on my mac. So far I used Lightroom 5. After the install the new catalog was updated. When I used the new Lightroom classic cc  no photos was found. then I used photo missing after this Lr created a new Folder with the photos but the history of the changes I mad the photos was lost.

Any idear how I find the photos without creating a new folder?

Most likely, Lightroom Classic CC opened the wrong catalog file. You ought to search for a different catalog file using your operating system (its file name ends with .LRCAT), and then convert that to Lightroom Classic CC.

Could you explain this step more? What is "photo missing"?

It sounds like you imported the photos, which is 100% the wrong thing to do here.

the link or path is missing to the photos. I used find lost photos and then Lr creates a new Folder. this works fine but the changes in the photos is lost.

In the Library module, go to the Folders panel. Are any of the folders marked as missing?

If so, you need to so a "find missing folder" before attempting anything with the individual files.

Again, I don't really know what you mean, could you show us a screen capture, and/or describe in more detail?
