Lightroom Classic Catalogue Backup Issue

I just used my Lightroom Classic after a few weeks on the road and suddenly it tells me that my almost 1tb of free disk space is insufficient to back up my updated catalogue???

It's never been an issue and my old catalgue backup zip file is just 18mb large.

 

Also the screen promt doesn't make sense to me at all.

 

What's going on?

Hey, @Rallyewerk. Welcome to the Lightroom Classic community. I'll help you figure this out. 

Did Lightroom Classic close normally the last time it worked, or is this a fresh installation of Lightroom v15 on this machine? Try these steps:

  • Reset Lightroom by holding the OPT + SHIFT when you launch Lightroom and select 'Yes'.
  • Ensure Lightroom has the required permissions on macOS: https://adobe.ly/3DyUwsz
