Lightroom classic catalogue problem

Hello,

I have a corrupted Lightroom Classic catalog.

- Catalog works temporarily after reset (CameraRaw + preferences)

- After closing and reopening, Develop module freezes on loading

- Previews generation also gets stuck

- Other catalogs work perfectly on the same machine

- RAW files open fine in Photoshop

I already tried:

- Reset CameraRaw

- Reset preferences

- Rebuilding previews

- Rebuilding catalog via import into a new catalog

The issue comes back after reopening Lightroom.

LrC version 15.3 & Camera Raw 18.3 running on a 2019 15” MacBook Pro 2,3 GHz Intel Core i9 8 cœurs

Any idea on how to fix this issue ? Thank you

If the problem comes back after you re-open Lightroom Classic, this could be a corruption of the catalog caused by a bad sector of your hard disk or SSD. Please run diagnostics on the disk to see if any problems are found.

Try exporting all images as a new catalog. Resetting preferences or Camera Raw cache will not work, because this is clearly an issue of the catalog, not the application (other catalogs work fine, you said). Another thing you could try is removing ‘catalogname.lrcat-data’ and ‘catalogname helper.lrdata’ from the catalog folder). Perhaps one of these is corrupted (Lightroom can rebuild those).
