Lightroom Classic CC keeps on reseting to default settings since the last update 7.5

Since the last update 7.5 every time I start LR all my setting in the GUI and catalogue are reset to defaults. Adobe support seems unable to help with this.

Can an ACP help with this please? It's been 2 weeks now and my catalogue is becoming way out of date.

Mac Book Pro. latest OS.

    You may have the wrong setting under Preferences->General Tab->"When starting up use this catalog", make sure it is set to the catalog you want.

    Try deleting your Prefs file and choose your new prefs in the new Prefs file that LR will make. You could simply rename your existing Prefs file (and any older ones) if you are nervous!
