Lightroom Classic crashes

This is my 2nd time trying to get help on the forum.

I painstakingly edited and arranged my photos (RAW) and videos in Library (208 items).  Then I moved to Slideshow and filled out the Options, such as adding music and choosing the time to display each image.  Then I did Create New Slideshow and named it.

I can view all my images and videos in this slideshow file just fine in Library, but when I switch to Slideshow and try to Preview, Play or Export Video, Lightroom crashes.  No report...it just says Windows will look for a solution.

I am running Windows 10 and have updated it.

I have cleaned up my hard drive and now have 53 GB of free space.

I have updated Lightroom Classic.

My graphics drivers are up to date.

From advice in another column, I went to Preferences and unchecked Use Graphics Processor.

I don't understand most of the items in Preferences, particularly the cache settings.  I have left them alone: max size camera raw = 5 GB, limit video cache size = 3 GB.  I have never purged the cache.

Could the size of my Slideshow be a problem?

Could the problem be somewhere in Preferences?

Despite updating Lightroom, could there be a corrupt file inside it?  If I need to uninstall and reinstall, I will need specific instructions on how to do it so that I don't lose any of my hard work.  I am on the PPP plan.

Thanks in advance for any help...
