Lightroom Classic Crashing

I went to open my lightroom app on my computer and it will open for a few seconds and then crash. I tried several times and even restarted my computer. I unistalled it and re-installed and it still crashed. In the creative cloud it is showing that Lightroom is upto date with the newest version. I purchased Lightroom Classic 6 back in 2014. 

I have gone to my control panal - programs - programs and features - unistalled Microsoft C++ 2005, 2008, and 2010 and re installed like Adobe told me to do. I repaired the 2012, 2013 and 2015 part of it as well and restarted my computer. It is still crashing as soon as I open it up. I am at a loss of what to do next. Any ideas?

"Lightroom Classic 6". Do you pay a monthly/yearly subscription fee?

If not, then you are using a Perpetual version of Lightroom 6.x for which there has been reports of failures and errors in the forums.

Download the last version 6.14 (which is reported to be 'stable' ) at this link-

Otherwise post back with more information about your Lr Version and Windows Version.
