Lightroom Classic crashing

I am having problems with Lightroom Classic crashing when i upload photos.

I have turned GPU off and still the same.

Reinstalled the program still the same.

Running Windows 10

Reboot the computer. Uninstall Lightroom Classic. Reboot the computer. Reinstall Lightroom Classic using the Adobe Creative Cloud app.

Done that twice, and reinstalled Windows.

We’ve reviewed the email address you use with this forum and find no crash reports in our system.

 

Did you see a crash dialog?

Do you use a different email address when filling out the crash report?

Was the crash dialog Adobe’s? Microsoft’s?

Thanks for reply.

No crash report shows up, just freezes and goes to a windows fault and all locks up. Have to switch off and on again to start again.

Everything else works fine, Topaz photo ai and DXO all of as I just ran 150 through both.

I am lost, I reinstalled Windows, also updated graphics driver.

Started out with everything newly installed.

Is there a way to put LR back to default settings.

That sounds more like a hardware failure. Do you have any text from the Windows Fault?

Please try if it helps to reset preferences: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/help/setting-preferences-lightroom.html

Removing and reinstalling does NOT reset the preferences.

Also, please share the system information found in the Help menu of LrC.

Why is it just Lightroom shutting down then restarting, every other program works fine.

Looks like I will have to find another photo editing software, shame I have used Adobe for a few years, but I don't have time and to old to put up with crashes all the time.
