Question

Lightroom Classic Crashing on Startup

I left town for 10 days, it was working fine the day I left. Came back and tried to open LRC and it froze. I force quit after a few minutes, sent a crash report, and tried again. It kept freezing. I restarted my computer, uninstalled and reinstalled LRC, and cannot think of what to do next. PS and LR are working fine.

I am having this problem. I have restarted, reinstalled the app, tested integrity on start, etc.

Having had the same issue about a month ago, I resolved by uninstalling LrC and reinalling. I am haveing the same issue again, although that method is no longer working on my MacStudio OS 15.3.2. If you find a working resolve, please post.

I force quit after a few minutes,

And did you deal with the resultant lock file before attempting to start LrC?

We’ve reviewed the email address you use with this forum and found no crash reports in our system.

Did you see a crash dialog?

Do you use a different email address when filling out the crash report?

Was the crash dialog Adobe’s? Apple’s?

I did, I used this email address and am sure it was Adobe's. I just relaunched so I could send another one but it opened this time...

The next time you experience this crash, fill out the dialog completely, screenshot it, submit it, and then post the screenshot in this thread.

Thank you.
