Lightroom Classic Develop Tab

Question

Hi, I had a paid lifetime of Lightroom 6, the otherday it stopped working and therefore I downloaded Lightroom Classic. My development tab however does not work anymore and prompts me with a messge to say " Please purchase a subscrption or licence to reactivitate the Develop module". I do not require cloud storage as I store my files on external drives.

Im hoping someone can assist with this issue.

Cloud storage has nothing to do with this. Lightroom Classic comes as a subscription and is installed by downloading from the cloud. Your images will still be stored locally as always. If you do not have a subscription or you let your subscription expire, then Lightroom Classic goes into a mode where the develop and map modules are disabled.
