Lightroom Classic does not allow me to edit pictures in Photoshop. How can I work around this?

I am working on a Mac Pro 2019 running Tahoe 26.7.1. I use PS 27.10.0 and LrC 15.6. Until recently, I had no trouble organizing my photos in LrC, making preliminary adjustments, and then taking them into PS for more precise adjustments. Now, if I make any adjustments to a DNG file imported into an LrC catalog, the “Edit in Adobe Photoshop 2026” command opens PS but somehow does not transfer the picture; i.e., it doesn’t show, and I can’t work on it in PS. Oddly, if I do the same with an unedited file, it will appear in PS.
What is going on here?
I tried throwing out the old versions of PS and LrC and rebooting the computer, but nothing helped. My workflow has been hit where it hurts, and if this issue can’t be resolved (my online research shows this problem has been known for quite some time), I’ll be forced to redesign my entire editing setup, including how I organize my photos. I’m sure you understand that I am very reluctant to take on that task. But Adobe is starting to look less and less attractive and reliable.
Any helpful suggestions or workarounds are highly welcome.

    It’s a known issue with Photoshop 27.10.0.
As a temporary workaround, revert to version 27.9.1.

Thank you, Per, for your information. I’m glad to know Denoise seems to be the culprit. I had uninstalled and reinstalled LrC and Ps previously. Edits from LrC transferred to Ps only if Denoise wasn't used. I could also copy it back to LrC without a hitch. Any file with an edit involving Denoise did not work.
For now, I’m not going to revert in the hope that a fix will be along soon. I’ll do the denoising in either Luminar or Topaz. There are other editors, and I think Adobe needs to know this.
