Lightroom Classic does not remember previous folder location when exporting.

Hello

Can someone please tell my why Lightroom Classic does not remember previous folder location when exporting photos to the original folder where I have catogorised with date and subject. I know in the past lightroom after every edit and it would remember the chosen folder location for every following photo. Now it makes me go in and choose the location to save the file to for every photo. Is this a bug of Lightroom? How can I change this so that it will remember the last location until I change it again?
