Question

Lightroom Classic does not Sync Photo changes across devices and does not upload full size images

Hello!

Could you please explain to me how can I configure Lightroom Classic to store my full sized Raws into the Adobe Cloud? I noticed that only on my main desktop computer files are full sized, when opening on another computer, photos are only SmartPreviews. Moreover, when I make changes to the SmartPreviews, they are not synced across other devices (probably because of different catalogues?). My cloud does not fill up as well, it stays the same Gb as it was before, doesn't matter how many more photos I upload.

I haven't used Lightroom for a while, but it wasn't like that before like I explained above.

Thanks in advance.

I think you've missed out on some fundamental aspects of how Lightroom Classic works with cloud sync.

Classic has only ever uploaded Smart Preview versions to the cloud. Not only that, these previews don't count towards your storage total. Classic also only syncs one catalog to the cloud, so if you're constantly changing and syncing different catalogs to the cloud, then yes, you're not going to see changes. Classic in inherent design is meant to be a one catalog system. Lightroom for Desktop removes the catalog, so everything is stored in the cloud, but it's still effectively one cloud catalog.
