I have a problem after instaling Big Sur on my Mac. Can´t open Canon Print Studio Pro in Lightrrom Classic after instaling Big Sur. Did instal a new version of Print studio Pro but it won´t work! In Ligtroom I can see it is trying to open but it ends there.

I am using Big Sur 11.7.3 on Mac. After not using the Pro 300 for 3 weeks, the folder for accessing the CPP plugin through Lightroom was empty. I had done a system update since last using the printer.

I removed the CPP files and reinstalled the drivers for CPP for Big Sur. Nothing happened when going through the Lightroom Plugins section in File. I then installed the CPP software for Big Sur, and it worked.

Two years ago I lost the use of my Canon Pro 9100 printer after a Mac upgrade and there was no update to the printer drivers from Canon.

Canon’s response to my queries was to simply state that there would be no further update for the printer.

I would suggest that you check Canon for an update for your specific printer.

Someone else reported similar symtpoms and that Canon support says there's an issue with the plugin on Mac OS 11.6:

You might contact Canon support directly to verify.

Is the plug-in showing up in plug-in manager?

Correct version?

No error notices?

Activated?

For me frustrating too. All partners are blaiming each other. No one helps.

- No errors
- Activated, LR/C yes

Yes, it loads the old plug-in, I'm not going crazy! I also noticed when mounting the plug in,  it skips the destination component of the Installation!
