Lightroom classic Effect area missing

Hello dear people.

I have bought some local adjustment brushes and added them, I think.. But when I go back to the develop panel, there is No Effect area to see all the brushes. There is a preset area under brushes but that is all. I press K open up brushes but can not see anything I added.

Thanks

You are so lovely, thank you for all this help. Truly greatful. The command  shift 4 didnt work for me, just opened a new tab, but will try to manage.

I added the brushes in LRC opened preferences, then LR, then presest and LR setting then local adjusment brushes .and I copied it all there. Was that not right?

No, that's perfect.

Did you restart Lightroom after?

There's also an app called Screenshot in the Utilies Folder in your Applications folder.

The adjustment brush presets should be under 'Presets' in your screenshot. Also note that you have no mask selected.

How did you add the brushes?

Also on Mac, Command + Shift + 4 creates a crosshair that you can drag to capture a section of screen. It's saved to the desktop by default. Use the image icon in the text editor to add this directly in the preview.
