LIGHTROOM CLASSIC Error

I am working with Lightroom Classic. For the past month or so I am experiencing this error ...
As soon as I select MASKING - BACKGROUND parts of my photo changes to a orange colour, once I tick "show overlay" I can see the background chosen, which is my normal red colour? If I select "subject", it changes my subject colour to this orange as well, and I cannot work on my mask then, cannot see the changes. Did I perhaps change a setting without knowing? Please assist.

What is the make and model of your computer's GPU? What is the version NUMBER of the GPU driver? Can you try to update the driver to see if there is a later version?
