Lightroom Classic export not working

hello,

the export in Lightroom Classic 15.3.1 on Mac OS 26.5.1 doesn’t work, and don’t even start. Any suggestion ?

    Please make sure to create a backup first, and then perform the reset manually.

     

    @wegen , please confirm if 15.2.1 is working for you as well.

     

    I will raise this with the product team for review. I tested it on both Windows and macOS machines on my end, and it is working fine.

    Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. Could you please help us with a few additional details?

    • Please share your System Info (available from the Help menu).
    • Let us know where you are exporting the file. Does the export also get stuck when exporting a local file to your Desktop?
    • @elledo please confirm if export is working as expected on 15.2.1
    • Please try changing the GPU Usage setting in Preferences. If it is set to Auto, turn GPU usage Off and check whether the issue persists.

     

    If the problem persists, please try resetting Lightroom preferences manually after backing up your settings. The steps are available here: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/help/reset-preferences.html

     

    Once you've tried the above, please let us know the results so we can continue troubleshooting.

    Thank you for your support!

    Regarding where I tried to export my pictures: I tried exporting them to several locations (desktop, local folders, network folders, external volumes...), but LRC always gets stuck.

    I confirm that export worked as expected on 15.2.1, as far as I know. I am not sure if the latest IA features worked with 15.2.1, but I was in a hurry to deliver the project and had no time to check thoroughly.

    Otherwise, I turned GPU usage off, I reset Lightroom preferences, even uninstalled and installed a fresh version without preferences, but the issue persisted. Finally, I downgraded to 15.2.1 to export my work.

    unfortunately it doesn’t help because I never used this new feature “content credentials”. So It must be something else.

    I have to disagree with this logic. You may have turned it on accidentally without realizing it. We all click the mouse in the wrong spot at times, and may not realize what we did. You need to check visually, to make sure the Content Credentials options in the Export dialog box are turned off.

    @wegen what does “don’t even start” actually mean? Does it mean the dialog box doesn’t appear? Does it mean you fill out the dialog box and then no exporting happens? Does it mean something else?

    @dj_paige I mean the export file dialog box appear and I can click on “export file”. I can see the Export 1 fichier but it stays empty and never finish.

    First thing I would try is resetting the preferences, as explained by ​@Srishti Bali .

    I have the same problem with Lightroom Classic 15.3.1 on Mac OS 26.6. When I try to export images, it doesn´t work, and the export progress bar doesn't move for hours. I made a process sample using Activity Monitor. Please see attached. Any suggestions? Thanks

    Content credentials sometimes creates inability to export. Turn it off completely in the export dialog and see if it works after that…

    Content credentials is a relatively new feature in your export dialog (where you tell what to export, how many pixels, water mark etc). Look for it there and you'll find out. De-enable it completely (do not export, I think the drop down menu item is called).

     

    When that feature does not work, the exporting just fails without telling you that (or what)  something is wrong. It's just quiet and exports nothing. Took me a long while before I figured that out. It delayed images that were rushed... I was soo thrilled, and so was the client...
