LIghtroom Classic File Not Found

LRC 15.1 Mac 14.8.3, I have a catalog with 25K+ files, now showing 20K+ 'file not found'. This is a recent occurrence. In the past, I have had a few files with the !, but 20k out of 25k?? Is anyone aware of similar issues, ideas on fixing?

This doesn't sound like something that other people have reported. It happens because the photo files (or the folders that contain them) have been moved or renamed or deleted outside of LrC. The fix is here.
