Question

Lightroom Classic for MacBook

I'm running Lightroom Classic on my Macbook. Checking the version, it says 8.3. On Adobe's website, the latest version is 9.0. So, Why is the Adobe Cloud update agent that is running on the Macbook not finding the latest version?

Anyone have the same issue?

Hi there,

Would you mind sharing the macOS version you are using on the MacBook? You can check the article below on how to check for updates.

P.S. what is your MAC OS version?

Lightroom Classic v9 requires (for MAC) macOS 10.13 (High Sierra), macOS 10.14 (Mojave), macOS 10.15 (Catalina

I would AVOID Catalina like the plague.

Catalina 10.15.1. I'll try uninstalling and re-installing the cloud app.

You may have an issue with your copy of Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App. Just that application.

Following link is about uninstalling it:

https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

And then a fresh new download of the app:
