Lightroom Classic freezes on launch

I updated to MacOS Monterey 12.4 (on my MacBook, 2019, 2.6GHz) recently and subsequently I have been unable to run Lightroom. I have tried reverting from 11.13.1 to 11.1 and 11.2 but still the problem persists: I attempt to launch, it loads and brings up the Library but immediately the rainbow wheel appears and the only way out is Force Quit.

Is there any way out of this?

Try resetting your Lightroom preferences:
https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/help/setting-preferences-lightroom.html

Quit Lightroom Classic.
MacOS: Press and hold the Shift + Option keys.
Windows: Press and hold the Shift + Alt keys.
While holding down the keys, launch Lightroom Classic.
When asked, select "Yes".

Check the article available at the link below and allow LrC and PS “full disk access” in your privacy settings.
