Question

Lightroom Classic Generative AI Stuck on Loading.

  • June 26, 2026

Here are the details:

  • Application: Adobe Lightroom Classic
  • Issue: Generative AI remains on the loading screen and never completes the generation.
  • Expected behavior: The AI should process the request and generate the result.
  • Actual behavior: The loading animation continues indefinitely, and nothing is generated.

This issue isn’t occurring for most users, otherwise we’d see a huge flood of posts here. More likely, there’s something specific to your configuration.

    @jerin_alex DirectX: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (32.0.16.1062)

This is the latest Studio driver, so the issue probably isn’t with the graphics driver.

    Adapter #2: Vendor : 1002
        Device : 1636

You’ve got a second GPU, integrated on your AMD CPU. Adobe recommends disabling second GPUs, because sometimes the operating system gets confused between the two. There have been occasional reports here over the past few years that sometimes it helps -- it’s easy to try. See steps 5-6:

First try to reset the preferences of Lightroom Classic:  How to reset Lightroom Classic preferences (adobe.com)

It's recommended to backup your preferences before you reset the preferences to the default settings:

    https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/preference-file-and-other-file-locations.html

If this doesn't help we need more informations about your environment.

Is your system up-to-date? Do you have installed all recent updates and patches for the operating system and the device drivers, especially the graphic driver. Please make also sure that you have installed the Studio version and not the Game Ready version of your NVidia driver.

Please provide a copy of your 'System Info'. This can be get from the Lightroom menu item Help > System Info. There's a copy button in the System Info dialog. Press this button and paste the info into your next forum post.

    My System: Intel i7-8700K - 64GB RAM - NVidia Geforce RTX 3060 - Windows 11 Pro 25H2 -- LR-Classic 15 - Photoshop 27 - Nik Collection 9 - PureRAW 6 - Topaz Photo AI
