and

Graphics Processor Info:
DirectX: NVIDIA GeForce MX250 (30.0.15.1169)
Init State: GPU for Image Processing supported by default
User Preference: Auto

So an outdated GPU driver on a sort of old GPU, (released in 2019), Ok not that old, but on a less than 4K display. Not sure if turning on use GPU (Auto) helps or hinders. Not sure if turning that off will hinder AI masking. But suspecting that turning on might hurt performance for no gain as you are less than 4K.

Have you tried running LrC with GPU acceleration off?

Hi,

If you see i'm using this laptop for 2 yrs now.Only few months back , I started experiencing this issue but that was not the case earlier..Hence, im not sure if that is the case or version of LRC or Windows causing this to hang??? Coz i too uninstalled and installed LRC to see if this was resolving.

Actually you appear to have Windows 11.

An oddity in either how Windows passes version info, or how LrC Sys Info reads that, causes that error. Just an annoying error, not a cause of issues.

This can be important when looking for solutions.

Build 22621 is Windows 11 v22H2. And 22H2 had some issues. Have you checked for any system updates? I think Windows put out a bug fix.

Please post your System Information as Lightroom Classic (LrC) reports it. In LrC click on Help, then System Info, then Copy. Paste that information into a reply. Please present all information from first line down to and including Plug-in Info. Info after Plug-in info can be cut as that is just so much dead space to us non-Techs.

Thanks for sharing the details. I'll help you figure this out. The GPU on your computer does not meet the requirements of optimal Lightroom Classic performance. The Nvidia MX250 only scores 1100 ops/sec on the GPU Compute benchmark; the recommended is more than 2000. Check this to learn more: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/lightroom-gpu-faq.html

The current GPU drivers for Nvidia MX250 are 531.18 - Release Date: 2023 February 28 & you're working with 30.0.15.1169 (translates to 511.69) , which is more than a year old.

Try updating the GPU driver using the Nvidia Auto-detect tool. Check the step 4 here: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/troubleshoot-gpu.html#solution-4

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!
