Lightroom Classic intermittent slowness after update

No idea what to say really but just everything about lightroom classic is intermittently slow after an update today.

I'll be editing a photo, and adjusting the exposure and it's fast/snappy/good.,.. then the next minute it takes SECONDS to just do each increment on the exposure.

Same thing for using the brush on subjects to de-select areas, sometimes it's INSTANT as it always has been, the next the brush is stuttering around and missing sections you passed over. 

Last weeek I used the AI denoise feature for a picture and within a few seconds it had done it...

Now it's taking an age longer to just do 1 picture, like the best part of a minute on pictures from the same camera (z6, raws converted to dngs on import, so about 45mb DNGs for LR to denoise).

I'd say the above is happening 20-50% of the time, with the rest of the time LR being as snappy as it usually was last week..

Any ideas here on what I can do?

32GB Ram

RTX 3080 10GB
