LIghtroom classic is not importing my images to the correct place....

This happened around the time I got a Blackjet TX-1CXQ reader, which I am sure is just a coincidence, but when importing, the files images are being saved on the actual memory card, or if I copy the images to a folder on the desktop, then they are copied to that folder. I can see when I go to import it shows my Mac's harddrive and the usual folder destination. But despite this, it is not importing correctly. When I look at auto import serttings, it shows the correct folder destination also. Ok, so what did I change or did it get changed during an update?

Are you using a CFexpress card? If yes. then make sure that you 'Copy' the files from the card rather than the default (for CFexpresss) 'Add' option.

Can you show a screenshot of your import dialog? Nothing has changed and I cannot reproduce this.

Did you check this: Apple changed the security requirements in MacOS Monterey. Go to MacOS 'System Settings - Security & Privacy' and add Lightroom Classic and Photoshop to "Full Disk Access". Click on the lock icon to unlock the settings, then click on the plus icon to add Lightroom Classic and/or Photoshop if it isn't already listed. If it is listed, then just enable the checkbox. Yes, I did start using some CFexpress cards actually.  I found this article that explained to me what you meant - https://lightroomkillertips.com/lightroom-classic-and-cf-express-cards/.  I will see if that is the problem, I appreciate it.

Changing it to add worked, I now can remove the CF card after importing and still work on the files. They copied ovver to the correct location.
