Lightroom Classic is not transferring Lens Corrections and Transform adjustments to Photoshop
Hi everyone,
I’m experiencing a strange issue with Lightroom Classic and Photoshop, and I’ve already ruled out most of the common causes.
System:
- Lightroom Classic 15.4.1
- Photoshop 2026
- Camera Raw 18.4
- macOS 26.5.2
- Apple Silicon (M4 Pro)
The problem:
When I use Photo > Edit In > Adobe Photoshop, the image opens in Photoshop, but all geometric adjustments made in Lightroom are missing.
Specifically:
- Lens Corrections are not applied.
- Transform/Upright adjustments are not applied.
- Perspective corrections are lost.
However, other Lightroom adjustments (such as exposure, white balance, etc.) appear to transfer correctly.
What I’ve already tested:
- The issue happens with all lenses, not just one.
- Exporting the image as a TIFF from Lightroom and then opening that TIFF in Photoshop works perfectly. All Lens Corrections and Transform adjustments are preserved.
- The issue only occurs when using Edit In > Photoshop.
- I have tried both the latest versions and older versions of Lightroom and Photoshop.
- Lightroom External Editing is set to:
- TIFF
- ProPhoto RGB
- 16-bit
- ZIP compression
- Lightroom correctly shows “Built-in Lens Profile applied” in the Optics panel.
- Camera Raw also recognizes the built-in lens profile correctly.
Because exporting a TIFF works correctly, it seems that Lightroom is able to render the adjustments, but something in the Edit In workflow is causing Photoshop to receive the image without the geometric corrections.
Has anyone experienced this recently, or knows if this is a known bug with Lightroom Classic 15.4.1 / Camera Raw 18.4?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
