Lightroom Classic is running, but not running!

Question

I am running Windows 11, with the latest Microsoft updates. I cannot open Lightroom Classic, but when I attempt to uninstall the application it asks me to close Lightroom Classic.

I have done the following:

1) Deleted the Library lock file

2) Rebooted the computer

3) Restarted LRC, but it does not open on screen

4) Again shows locked library

6) Deleted the locked file

7) Rebooted the computer

5) Uninstalled the LRC

6) Reinstalled LRC

7) Opened LRC

😎 Same results - Still not seeing the application on screen

All assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

and I get the same result - LRC does not open, but when I attempt to delete LRC,

Is your system up-to-date? Do you have installed all recent updates and patches for the operating system and the device drivers, especially the graphic driver. If you have a NVidia graphic card installed, make sure that you are using the recent Studio version of the driver, not the Game Ready version.

Do you have removed the preferences during the deinstallation of Lightroom?

If no, then try a reinstallation again and remove the preferences when you aaked during the deinstallation.
