Lightroom Classic Mac OS Ventura - Updated LRC to 12.0.1 - Some Folders not displayed in Navigator

Question

I use a Mac with OS Ventura. I updated Lightroom Classic today to 12.0.1. I have folders by year, and then subfolders named for each event (such as Italy 2022 or Moon Shots 2021). After the LRC Navigator pane shows my folders and subfolders, but only through folder 2019. Folders 2020, 2021, and 2022 are not in the navigator. When I go to "Finder" and look at the Lightroom Library, it shows all the folders and subfolders.

I made sure that LRC has full disk access. I keep my library on an external drive. I rebooted a few times but it has not helped.

So it's odd that I can see the folders in Finder, but not in Navigator.

Any suggestions, or am I just up the creek until 12.0.2 comes out?

It has happened to a few people (including me!) that if your catalog is on an external drive, an upgrade (eg. v11 > v12) finds and upgrades an OLD catalog. The result is that the Library only shows the open catalog as it was last used (eg. 2019).

Do a Finder search for .LRCAT files that might have all your data (Open by a [Double-Click] and allow the catalog upgrade).

If you find your wanted catalog- goto Preferences > General and set your option for the 'Default Catalog' that opens when you start LrC.
