Lightroom classic not syncing/updating

This week I have had a problem with syncing photos.

Synchronize Folder - does not add new photos to folder in Lightroom Classic v13

Sync metadata - not updating.  Not copying info to other photos

Rename not updating. In the metadata list on the right hand side the file name has changed. The photo in the actual file has not.

New photos will add to folder if I close and reopen the app.  I am working on a Mac OS 13.6.6 

I use these functions all the time and up until this week have worked fine
