I have an issue tethering my R6 to Lightroom Classic.

PROBLEM SUMMARY

  • LrC connects and shows images via live view in the floating dialogue box
  • Permits shooting via camera or dialogue button but images only save to camera (SD) not to folder on PC specified

SETUP

  • LrC release 13.3
  • LrC Camera Raw 16.3
  • Windows 10 with all available updates (2 June 2024)
  • Various USB C cables tried

OTHER ACTIVITY

  • Nikon (yes Nikon) plugin disbaled because I heard there might be a conflict - no change
  • Attempted on 2nd PC same results

All and any help welcomed.

Thx all 🙂

Errm my apologies for misleading you CANON R6 Mk II, for which support is allegedly provided. 🙂

Kit:

R6 mk ii latest firmware

Windows pc, latest updates applied

Lightroom classic latest version

Various USB C leads

------

I cannot tether.

LrC

  • sees the camera
  • Floating dialogue box cubes up
  • Live view seen on pc
  • Can shoot from camera or LrC
  • Image saves to camera but not folder set up via LrC

I heard that a Nikon plug-in can cause an issue so that is disabled.

All help gratefully received
