Question

Lightroom Classic Preference Tabs are blank.

When I open Lightroom Preferences the only two tabs that have any content are "General" and "Presets". All the rest are empty. I am using a Mac Studio computer with MacOS Monterey 12.6. My LR CLassic version is 12.1 with Camera Raw 15.1.

Try resetting LR's preferences:

LR sometimes soils its preferences file, and resetting it can fix all sorts of wonky behavior. That article explains how to restore the old preferences if resetting doesn't help.

I don't think this approach is advisable. The problem is the absence of preference dialogs, not something else going on in the application which I think is what the article addresses. I am reluctant to implement this because then I lose the ones I have and not sure it will let me restore them. If the preferences code itself is corrupted, what will doing a reset achieve? Maybe I shoud wait for the next update and when that's installed perhaps it would over-write this?
