Lightroom Classic Print Module: Poor Collage Photo Quality

I'm encountering an issue with creating collages in the Lightroom Classic Print Module. When I export collages, the resulting images often appear pixelated or compressed, significantly deviating from the original photo quality.

For instance, the attached photo demonstrates the quality degradation.

My current workflow involves selecting photos, putting them in the custom collage spaces, clicking "Print to File," and then exporting the collage.

I'm seeking guidance on how to optimize my settings or workflow to ensure that the exported collages maintain the same level of quality as the original photos.

It's not possible to do this kind of output in a way that preserves all the original photo exactly as it started. There has to be a re-presentation of that into a certain number of brand new pixels. The specification in your screenshot for making those new pixels is expected to give you quite low fidelity because 100ppi is a fairly low value for "Resolution".

100ppi is near to (a little less detailed than) what your display screen is probably giving you. If - to keep numbers simple - the monitor is 100ppi and the output is set to 100ppi, and your collage is being viewed on screen at the same physical scale as if the output was being printed at the intended size - then what you see in one is a fair preview of what you'll see in the other.

But if you change this Resolution setting to 300ppi, which is a commonly used figure, you will get 3x the pixels wide and high in your output, therefore much more ability to represent picture detail if inspecting that more closely.
