Lightroom Classic Raw file Storage

So I have been using Lightroom for a while now, and have managed to fill up my creative could storage pretty quickly.

my goal is to use lightroom classic to store my photos locally so i can free up cloud space, however, when I sync the lightroom classic catalog it's downloading everything to my C: drive, which is only a boot drive and does not have the capacity to store these files.

It should be noted that I have already gone through and reinstalled Lightroom, LR Classic, and Photoshop to the drive I want all of the photos to be downloaded to. I have also changed the directory for "Syncing" in the creative cloud app.

How do I change the download location of synced raw files when downloaded to LR classic?

please help, I'm pulling my hair out with this!

thanks!

Go to Preferences - Lightroom Sync. There is an option to specify the location of downloaded images.

Also note the checkbox option in thge same dialog to automatically file the downloaded files in dated folders. Super useful.
