Lightroom classic running poorly on workstation/gpu not working at all

So i installed the update today and now everything runs very very sluggish, pictures are pixelated until i zoom in, renders images in chunks, lag for adjustments in develop module, delay in switching modules, etc.
I have an i7 7700k , 16gb ram, 960 evo pro ssd, 1080ti gpu.... for my display i am using a 34" u3415w 3440x1440 monitor with two asus 22" 1080p side monitors. I dont think its a hardware issue since those components should have 0 issues with those monitors. I tried updating drivers for the gpu, and updated windows, so its not that. I monitored the cpu and gpu usage while in lightroom and the gpu didnt move at all during any use within lightroom and the CPU didnt even seem to notice was open and never hit high Mhz or temp spikes... ram stayed at 9.2 out of 16gb usage the entire time lightroom was open. I have tried reinstalling lightroom, restarting, driver updates, increased my cache to 20gb... none of it seems to help. If anyone could please help me resolve this problem or at least tell me I am not the only one experiencing it would highly appreciate it.

I encounter serious issues with LR Classic CC performance as well. It is sluggish and eventually crashes after I make virtual copies and start working on them. This is surprising given that the last update was performance oriented... I believe there should be a new update to solve these issues asap.
