Create slide shows with some video.  The video shot with my Nikon work fine..

Getting Error Rendering messages after Exporting the video.

It appears that the IMG.. movie format I created on my I Phone may be causing the error???

Thanks for your patience. The original did not specify the macOS.

Here are the steps for Windows, delete the following folders:

C:\Users\<UserName>\Appdata\Roadming\Adobe\dynamiclinkmediaserver

C:\Users\<UserName>\Appdata\Roadming\Adobe\dynamiclinkmanager

C:\Users\<UserName>\Documents\Adobe (if exists)

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Lightroom Classic\Helpers

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Adobe\Lightroom\Caches\Video

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks!

Hey, @jimanness. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll help you figure this out. Your post has been moved to the Lightroom Classic community.

What version of macOS & Lightroom Classic are you working on?

Try these steps:

  • Use images with uniform dimensions (only landscapes or portraits) in the slideshow as a test.
  • You can also try to clear the DynamicLink Manager (it handles video playback in Lightroom) by following these steps:

For macOS, delete the following on your system:

    • /Users/<UserName>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/dynamiclinkmediaserver
    • /Users/<UserName>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/dynamic link manager (if exists)

Delete the following to clear the Video Cache:
    • /Users/<UserName>/Library/Caches/Adobe/Lightroom/Video/Media Cache
    • /Users/<UserName>/Library/Caches/Adobe/Lightroom/Video/Media Cache Files

Please restart your computer and try creating a slideshow again. Then, let me know if that works.

Thanks!

Thank you for your reply,  I am currently working on a big book project using Lightroom and since I have so much time invested, I will wait until I after I am finished with that project before I start deleting any files.

I was able to finish my slide show project by removing all files that were videos I took on my I phone.

I will get back to your recommendations it just might take me some time to get back to removing the files you suggested.

Thank You,
