After the update to 11.5, performance is very slow on my iMac M1. I purged the cache but don't see any other changes. What else can I try?

I am also looking for some help here. I am new in mac world but I bought a macBook Pro M2 hopping to speed up my work with Lightroom as seen on many youtubers... @Dăuceanu

as your problem is likely different than the original one in this thread, let's avoid confusions and discussing two different problems in the same thread. Please start a brand new thread with your problem, describe in detail, and provide all relevant information (much of which you have already provided).

It would also be helpful if you copied the section of 'System Info' as shown in below screenshot. You can find System Info Lightroom Classic Help menu.

Your System Info indicates LrC is using iMac 4.5K display and an external 6K display. Try disconnecting the 6K display to see if that helps with performance.

It would also be worth checking Activity Monitor to see how much memory (and size of swap) is being used by LrC while editing with and without the 6K display connected.

It's everything. There are delays just moving basic adjustment sliders.

Is the Library Module slow also? Or just the Develop Module?
