lightroom classic slow and not responding
just recently, my Lightroom Classic has been so slow and sluggish and basically "not responding" after a bit. I have done all the recommended fixes: optimize catalog, purge cache, use graphics processor, preview gen "on" catalog settings to a preview 2880 and turned off assisted culling.
After a restart it works for a bit then goes back to slow or "hanging up" and it slows my whole system down. If lightroom is not running, everything is fine on my computer. So safe to assume it is lightroom? I have a few friends having this problem but no solutions. My computer is only 2 years old, and yes did all the cache cleaning and system efficiency checks. Help! thank you!
