Lightroom Classic stopped working

I use lightroom classic a lot and have come to appreciate the denoise function. It worked succesfully on my last job of batch work and synchronising of over two hundred raw photos (January 2025). I tried to use it to process a batch of 10 and then on an individual image this week no luck. It starts the progress bar comes up and then nothing no DNG file. I have over 200 GB of ssd disk space. I have tried with a 4050 GPU both on and off no luck. Lightroom works but classic does not. I cannot find the temp file so I conclude it has not been generated. Help appreciated

"It is not the driver. I rolled back the software of lightroom and it works. So it must be the latest Lightroom Software"

That would be an incorrect conclusion. Adobe is constantly changing the code that uses the GPU, and there are many reports here of an updated LR tripping over bugs in a graphics driver that didn't affect an older version of LR. That may or may not be happening here.

As Axel suggested, please do the LR menu command Help > System Info and copy/paste the entire contents here so we can see exactly which versions of LR, hardware, and software LR thinks you're running and important LR options that are set.

Denoise doesn't work during the GPU support is deactivated.

It seems there a problem with your graphic device driver. Check if the latest Studio version of NVidia's driver is installed.

It's recommended to use the Studio version of the graphic driver and not the "Game Ready" version.

My System: Intel i7-8700K - 64GB RAM - NVidia Geforce RTX 3060 - Windows 11 Pro 25H2 -- LR-Classic 15 - Photoshop 27 - Nik Collection 8 - PureRAW 5 - Topaz Photo

It is not the driver

I rolled back the software of lightroom and it works.

So it must be the latest Lightroom Software

I have the latest driver the first thing I checked

@stuartjonathangray , you stated "
I rolled back the software of lightroom and it works. ( state the numeric version.)

So it must be the latest Lightroom Software" (state the numeric version?)
