Question

Lightroom Classic Sync, Stuck

Hello, I've read many of the posts related to sync issues on LRc but this issue I haven't found anywhere else.

Under my sync menu (upper right corner) it says "syncing 4,446 files", and it stays stuck there.

HOWEVER

Under the Preferences/Sync Activity section, it shows no file uploading/downloading/pending.

I have also attempted "Rebuild Sync Data" from preferences. I have also restarted the computer.

I have also deselected mobile sync from all of my collections. From LRonline, I have deleted all images.

My intent was to remove all images from the cloud, and start anew with what I am syncing, as I primarily use LRclassic, with all images stored on a NAS, and only use the sync/cloud functionality in order to cull/rate images away from my desktop.

Can anyone please help me with this? I've been researching this one and banging my head against a wall for months now. I have the LrSync Diagnostic Report, but this forum will not allow me to attach it due to the filetypes.

If signing in and out of your account doesn't work, try rebooting the Mac.

Have you tried completely signed out of Creative Cloud? Signing out and back in is a bit different than simply quitting. Sign Out is in Red under your account profile image in the Creative Cloud dashboard. This stops the process running in the background (as seen in your Activity Monitor). Not sure if this will clear the sync issue  - please let us know if this helps.

Hello, thanks for the idea. I just tried signing out using that red sign
out menu option, but unfortunately that didn’t work. I also tried
restarting after sign out.
