Lightroom Classic - syncing issues with albums

Lightroom Classic ver 15.1

Windows 11

I noticed this first a few days ago. When I try to view an album online, I get the message "This album is empty".  I create quite a few Collections in Lightroom Classic and then use the Make Public button to create a url that can be viewed online. The url's still exist and show in my Collections, sync is on but I can't view anything online. Even if I create a new collection and Make Public, the newly created url gives me the same message.

For some reason, I cannot reply to the first replied post. I tried to upload some pics but was unable to then post.

Very frustrating that I can't post information.

Giving up! I will look for other solutions since I am not able to post image files here.

Hey, @gcnp2008. Thanks for sharing the update. I'd like to clarify that Lightroom Classic syncs only one catalog to the cloud at a time. Syncing multiple catalogs to the cloud can cause unexpected behaviors, as you see. It's possible that Lightroom Web is trying to match(Sync) what is available in Lightroom Classic.

You can log in to Lightroom Web (https://adobe.ly/4bfb2gb) to see what has already synced to the cloud. You'll have to keep syncing from a single catalog and keep your collections within a single Lightroom Classic catalog. Please head here to learn more: https://adobe.ly/4rc9eJt

Thanks!

Hey @gcnp2008

I have a few clarifying questions for you. When you say press the "Make Public button," does that mean it'll start syncing? Please share a screenshot of this button.

Where are you creating the URL? Lightroom or Lightroom Classic?

If possible, please share a video of your process. Thank you!

All my work is done using Lightroom Classic. I have Lightroom on my desktop but I do not use it knowingly.

I use Collections quite a bit to keep track of various photos and also to be able to share the collections for others to view. I have been doing this for many, many years and have not previously had any significant issues. A few days, maybe a week, ago after getting updates from the Creative Cloud, my Lightroom Classic started doing some very odd things. The first thing I noticed was that my catalogs started emptying out. I soon had upwards of 15 catalogs that had zero entries. The catalogs that now have no entries were all synced to the cloud. The only catalogs I now have that contain anything are ones that were not synced.

Is there anyway to get my synced catalogs back? Yes, there are some other issues as mentioned in my first post but this is the most critical at this point.
