Lightroom Classic to Lightroom, need local photos?

I have the 1TB photography plan.  I have been using Lightroom Classic for over 10 years now.  I want to move to Lightroom.

I migrated my files to Lightroom and it's being saved on Adobe's cloud storage.  I want to free up my local storage now.  Do I still need to keep my photos locally?  Can I delete my photos now? Does Lightroom (non-classic) need to save photos locally as well?

In case this is the wrong community forum, I will post on Lightroom (non-classic) as well.

Correct answer JohanElzenga

If you successfully migrated your Lightroom Classic catalog to Lightroom cloud, then you do not need the local photos from Lightroom Classic anymore.
