Lightroom Classic v14.3 Freezes during Photo import

I am running LR Classic 14.3 now but this problem was happening with the previous version too. A few months ago I started experiencing these problems. While importing photos to my Synology NAS, LR Classic will stop importing and some of the files become corrupted. The Mac reports "server connections interupted" and Lightrooom importing stalls. Sometimes I have to Force Quit LR. I then have to reconnect the NAS and restart the import process over again only for this to recur after some more files are imported. This happens with different card readers, different ethernet cables, different ethernet switches, WiFi connectivity, two different LR catalogs, 3 different camera files, and with two different Synology NAS units. It never happens while editting photos. The Mac OS was updated at least once, LR was updated at least once, and the NAS OS was updated once. It takes me 4 to 5 trys to get a card uploaded into my library. Help! Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this? I am running Mac OS Sequoia 15.4.1 on a Mac Mini with an M2 Pro chip.

Hi, we're sorry about the trouble! Please go to the Help menu in Lightroom Classic, then System Info, and copy the text. You can share the text with us by either pasting it here as a reply or in a text file and sharing the file with us.

Where are you importing the images from? Are you importing directly from an SD card?
