Lightroom Classic Will Not Launch

LRC (under win11) has crashed and impossible to restart. After several installations and reinstallations. And several times of having completely turned off and reopened the computer, LRC still does not restart.

When uninstalling and reinstalling with the firewall disabled, still without opening LRC. I have several external applications: Luminar Neo, Nik Collection, DXO Pureraw. Should I uninstall the external applications. Thank you for your solutions

With LrC closed, please use your Windows File Explore and bring up the folder your catalog is in and take a screenshot of that. And paste that into a reply.

So, if LrC is not running, And if the last time you used it and closed it, why is that lock file showing up. LrC creates that lock file when you start LrC, and delete it when you close. Unless LrC crashed or you force quit it. If that lock file exists, then LrC will not open the catalog.

Supposedly an error message should appear, but....

see:

See if deleting the lock file allows LrC to start. Cross fingers that something else is not going on.
