Lightroom Classic won't sync; both Photoshop and Lightroom syncs without a problem

After installing Photoshop and both version of Lightroom in my Macbook Pro, the Classiis unable to sync. It shows that nothing needs syncing, when it clearly does.

I can acess all my projets/photos in Photoshop/Lightroom/Lightroom Web. I've tried rebuilding sync data, reinstalling, everything. Nothing seems to work.

Everything also syncs without a problem with Lightroom CC in both my iPad and Android phone.

Need help please.

Correct answer Rob_Cullen

Yes, that's my case. And it works flawlessly for every device I own, expect the Macbook Pro. But ONLY on its version of Lightroom Classic.

(I have difficulty explaining, but-)

Lightroom-Classic will not be able to 'sync' on the Macbook!

'Sync' with Lightroom-Classic is a ONE computer, ONE catalog, system.

As you sync from the "main PC" with Lr-Classic, the MacBook Lr-Classic does not have that function. (If you tried to sync- you might be asked if you want to change to another synced catalog.)

Only Lightroom (v3.1 Cloud based) on the Macbook will be able to edit the proxy Smart Previews synced to the Cloud from the Main PC Lr-Classic catalog.

Maybe an explanation here-

You need three things to 'sync' from Lr-Classic Collections up to Cloud: Have you done all three?

1)  Added Selected Photos to a standard Collection

2) Lr-Classic Sync turned 'on' in the top Identity Plate drop-down menu

3) the standard Collection sync turned 'on'.  (Click sync box on the left of the Collection name)

And note that Lr-Classic does NOT sync 'Full-size' files up to the Cloud. Only proxy (smart previews. 2560px long edge) are synced up.

Edit: Only ONE catalog can be synced from Lr-Classic, so if you use Lr-CLASSIC on both desktop and laptop only one can be set to 'sync'.

Hi! Thanks for the answer.

Yes, I have all three done. As i've said, the photos sync up to every device I have ("main" PC, Android Lightroom CC, iPad Lightroom CC, Macbook Pro Lightroom, and even the Photoshop files). Only the Lightroom Classic on the macbook seems unable to sync.

Gives no error, no pending files, nothing. It's like it's not even connected to my account. Which it is. I've tried logging out and logging back in as well.

Best regards.

To be clear in my understanding-  Do you have Lightroom-Classic on your "Main" PC that is syncing Collections to the Cloud?
