Lightroom Classic won’t work

Question

No matter what I do this app seems to not want to work with me. I've cleared my cache, I've optimized my storage. I've tried absolutely everything. When I click on the app it won't anymore and occasionally I'll get it to open after 2 hours of trying but all of my photos are never there and synced. This is so frustrating and I hope someone can help me.

Please be more specific. Saying Lightroom Classic won't work means to me that it won't even load a catalog or start at all.

But you're saying it does open and that sync is the issue.

In a similar fashion to another post, make a new catalog and try an import the old one.

To make a new one, hold down the Option key when you start Lightroom to get the catalogs dialog box.
